County Galway

1990 - Castle Kirk on an island in upper Lough Corrib in County Galway.  It was formerly known as Castle of the Hen (Caisleán na Circe) and is considered to be one of the oldest fortresses of its kind in Ireland.  For some reason, I always used to refer to it as Rat Island!
