2003 - A misty evening meal beside the road on the Dingle Peninsula. A big thank you to the Irish people for always making me feel so welcome and safe in your land. The only time I ever felt threatened was this particular evening. I was close to packing up and moving on when I heard a group of young English lads shouting and jeering as they made their way towards me. I threw everything in the car and beat a very hasty retreat!
